I had no idea I'd like Dracula this much. Having never watched any Dracula movies, I guess I assumed the book would be one long description of the monster, rather than an intricate tale of intersecting characters. The beginning is the best part, as Stoker really weaves a tale of psychological rather than physical horror.

Read in the 21st century, many of the references to a women's mind and delicate self can be infuriating, yet Stoker still created a strong female lead character.

The book started off captivatingly, drawing readers in with its intriguing beginning chapters. However, it faltered in the middle, becoming bogged down with unnecessary words and fillers, which disrupted the flow. The last chapters, while less thrilling, still contributed to an overall enjoyable reading experience.

¿Quién sufrió más: Lucy (se convirtió en vampiro y le atravesaron el corazón con una estaca) o yo (me tuve que leer este libro)?

It was good :D A classic! What more can I say?! The only thing I disliked about this was the letter-format book..I hate letter-type but had to read this nonetheless. :)

A very enjoyable reading, always interesting and pleasant. The male characters were okayish, Lucy a classic (kind of annoying) damsel and Mina was just wonderful, very intelligent and kind. It was nice to find such a strong female character in a society ruled by men. Truly, a Gothic literature classic that triggered many other tales and stories.
