Super short and sweet - literally only 32 pages on my kindle. I really enjoyed these.

June’s was my favourite - I loved seeing more of her and Metias interacting - their relationship was so special.

This series will always have a special place in my heart!

June and Day are an OG favorite couple of mine while I’m rereading the trilogy I decided to read the novellas as I go and I’m so happy I did!! You learn so much about why these two are the way they are and how these specific experiences shaped them. And I think it’s super cool that Marie Lu connected these two events as well!

I love these books. This one was a great addition to the story, as we get to see June and Day at 12 years old. There's all these references, it's adorable!

Someday, someone out there will see you for the girl you really are. Someday you'll find someone who understands you.

See what I mean? Indirect reference to Day.

It took me like less than an hour to read. I guess it was ok. I liked Day's story better. Reading June's, i felt sad because of Metias. It's nice to see where they came from. But I felt like they were way too mature for 12 year olds. The way they act and talk, they act like they're 15 or 16. Even in Legend, they acted way older than they actually were. If you never told me their age, I would have thought they were 17. Not 15. And here they act like they're 15. Not 12. That bothered me only because it doesn't seem very realistic.

I mean it was interesting and kinda cute but I don’t really think these two stories was necessary for the actual series...
