This whole series has been amazing, and this book is like the icing on the cake! Gabe and Pen definitely have enough chemistry to burn the world down for sure!

This book flows a bit differently from the first two books in the series, and I love everything about it. Julia takes the time to build the background between Pen and Gabe since they knew each other before high school. Gabe has the biggest heart of all the boys, and it shines through in this book.

This book was fantastic. I love the curvy girl representation. Pen wasn’t ashamed of herself, the hero adored her, and she didn’t let a-holes shake her confidence. I loved her so much.
I also LOVED Gabe. He makes some pretty bad choices, but man his dirty talk is on point. And even though he’s a bit of an ass, he adores the crap out of the heroine so of course I just ate his character up.
My only gripe is I wish there was a bit more grovel at the end - I hate the plot device that was used to prompt Pen to forgive Gabe.
Absolutely love this series and can’t wait for Hell and Elenas books.

This is such a heartfelt read.
Gabe has been breaking Pen's heart since they were 14 but now when they are in their final year of school he needs her help with his grades.
Neither have had it easy in their pasts but when he blackmails her to help him she isn't happy.
The chemistry between them is electric but can she give into him without her heart being broken again.
I didn't like how Gabe treated Pen at first but the more I got to know him I understood why he was like he is. Could they get a happy ending when everything was against them.
A must read.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This book was great, but I kind of had high expectations for Gabe since I loved him in the first two books. His reasons for dumping Pen when they were 14 just seemed lame and annoyed me. Especially since things had not changed and now he was willing to risk the relationship.

Other than that I loved this couple. Gabe is much more likeable than the first two heroes. Pen was strong and beautiful. She accepted her body and curves, and Gabe absolutely loved them.

As usual, I loved Penelope and Gabriel's story. They had a short relationship early in high school. Penelope is heart broken and find it hard to trust him again. Penelope is a Science geek and Gabriel needs her help to pass a class so that he can get a scholarship and move on in life. Penelope has a secret that she is hiding and is required to do a service project, so even though she does not want to, she has to tutor Gabriel. This book is full of drama, with broken trust, broken friendships and building new trust and new relationships.

Well, well, well…… Gabriel Fuller

Not what I expected AT ALL. There are so SO many layers to the loud goofy kid who keeps all his friends spirits high. Under all of the laughs there is a really tough life that comes with sacrifices. For Gabe his one heart breaking sacrifice was Penelope Shade.

Penelope is a badass in her own right learning to be a little tougher. Pen has a beautifully amazing family and a big giant brain, she has her own traumas and learns to heal herself. Gabe discovers Pens big brain and uses it for his opening into a second chance!

I did love that even though they had each other they grew within themselves. The love they had for each other did heal them but not in the codependent way. They were always their own people while having a seriously strong connection.

This story also includes
Lots of teasing
Slightly possessive soccer star
Lots of skateboarding

Happy Reading!❤️

AHHH! Gabe and Pen killed me, then brought me back to life only to kill me again! These two! They make you want to bash their heads together! I loved them together but I hated them fighting against themselves. Gabe's not had it easy, and it makes me want to give him a big hug, but also TALK! He keeps everything to himself and things will never get better that way, especially when he hides behind humor. I'm all for the humor, my motto is everything hurts a little less with a laugh, but keeping things bottled up is not the way to go. Secrets are never good, particularly when dealing with someone with trust issues like Pen. SO MANY missed opportunities to spill their guts so they'd be on the same page but they are both so stubborn! So glad we'll see more from this crew, they've got some characters I'm dying to know more about. I hope we see Kaz again! He seemed super nice. This book will bring it all to you, you will laugh, cry, scream, fan yourself more than once and finally just sigh because its over and you don't want to be done with them just yet!
