WHAT A RIDE!!! I think that’s shaping up to be my reading motto this year. What. A. Ride. I absolutely loved this book. You need to suspend some disbelief, sure, but who cares. It was so great. The only other one by her I’ve read was Family Upstairs, which was good enough, but this was SPECTACULAR. I just loved it. LOVED. If you like these kinds of stories and you can handle some pretty gnarly plot points, I highly recommend. #engelbrechtreads2022 #engelbrechtreads

I give this book credit for turning into a WTF type of suspense that’s a bit unique. But it was sad.
The main antagonist is also just plain pathetic in all that she does. Just yikes.
