I really enjoyed this book. A subversive fairytale with an unexpected band of misfit characters on a quest to save a princess from domestic abuse. The princess turned nun FMC is 30+ and seemed autistic-coded to me. The only thing that could have made it more charming was if bone-dog was bone-cat. Oh yeah, there's an element of the spooky in this book, with undead minor characters.
