The beautiful story of Jory and Sam continues with Jory once again getting into trouble and testing the patience of those around him ;)

What I loved most reading throughout the series is Jory's love for Sam and Sam's for Jory. I loved Sam's primal love and instinct towards Jory and Jory's wholehearted surrender. It really is a complete JOY to read.

I'm truly in love with the series ^^

Loved this one, but I noticed a tiny error. In the first Matter of Time book, when Jory and Sam first meet, Jory was 22. In this one, Jory is 30, but he thinks to himself he and Sam have known each other 10 years. Maybe the author was rounding up, but it seemed like an error to me.

I do wonder if we'll get to see more of Jory and Sam in the future.

3.5 Stars for the story - Audio Edition

What can I say that you don't already know?? This was yet another roller coaster ride on the Jory train!

I found this to be a bit more explicit than the previous installments, though the onscreen time with our favorite couple was quite less than usual, as Sam worked undercover and Jory continued to find himself in unbelievable situations. Truly, really, unbelievable situations - I kid you not.

What stayed the same though was their love for each other. Sam is such a possessive badass and Jory continues to hold court with just his presence alone. You either love him… or love him. There's obviously no choice in the matter.

This audio installment was by a different narrator than the first two volumes. Jeff Gelder's performance made it hard to distinguish different characters thus creating confusion for me at times.

I feel like I need to start this review out by really taking a moment to voice how much I adore Jory. This character is so unique, and, although I’m aware he will not be everyone’s cup of tea, he sure is mine. His bluntness cracked me up, his scattered-brain constantly put a smile on my face and his overall vibe just made me happy. The way he simply breezes through life, shaking everything and everyone up in his wake will never fail to thoroughly entertain me.
I’m not sure what makes Jory tick the way he does; maybe it’s ADHD mixed with a heavy dose of charm and wit, but I truly adore him.

This was definitely my favourite book in the series so far, with the previous book coming as a close second. Is it a coincidence that both of my favourite books hardly featured Sam and mostly left Jory to do his own thing? I think not. The main romance of this series is just not what is driving my love for it (even though I no longer dislike Sam); it is Jory and his crazy life and his many intriguing meetings with people that completely draws me in. The way he interacts with others just fascinates me, and I’m always so happy whenever someone in the book is completely enraptured with him as well.

This book in particular had a lot of men falling head over heels in love with Jory. It genuinely felt like true admiration and adoration from them rather than just lust, which I really appreciated.
We had men like Cristo Liron, Hayes Fisher, Aaron Sutter; and I just loved each of their obsessions with Jory. All three of them had tons of chemistry with him and I just swooned over every scene they were in. All of their seperate storylines and relationships with Jory had me completely hooked. Of course I always knew it wouldn’t go anywhere (because Jory will always love Sam and all that), but damn if I didn’t thoroughly enjoy him being flirted with, obsessed over, and completely and utterly adored. These men were basically all fighting for him, or, at least, they were all very much prepared to do so if only Jory would give them a chance. It made me feel all giddy.

This book genuinely just had me read it in its entirety with a big ass smile on my face, and I couldn’t ask for more than that. I love Jory and I love all his interactions with other people. I do not think I will ever get bored of it.

This was my favorite book in this series so far. I wasn't as thrilled with this series the first time I read it, but I went back and re-read the other four books, and I enjoyed them much more the second time around. I am so pysched that Jory was able to walk at the end of this story. It would have been so tough to leave it as a cliffhanger not knowing if he was able to walk again or not til the next book.

Despite everything, I still love Jory and Sam. Jory is much more loveable when Sam is there with him.

I didn't want this book to end. I just love Jory. I love everything about him and it was so great to visit him again and I really do hope it's not the last time. Great great book!

I am in the huge minority here. I think Jory's character is wildly inconsistent, obnoxious and tstl. I don't get why so many people fall madly in love with him. I only read this book as A Matter of Time was voted the best M/M series in the 2014 MMRomance Member's Choice Awards and as I had read Vol 1 and 2 already, I thought I would give book 5 a chance despite disliking books 3 & 4.

But Jory infuriated me with his "I'm not stupid, I know you want to have sex with me" and then hanging out with the same guys and putting himself in precarious positions anyway. As well, his attitude at work was dreadful and I hated how everyone catered to him. I also didn't like that Sam left him alone for 4 months with out any contact knowing the type of person he is.

The whole thing was ridiculous.
