If I could give this book 6 stars I would, omg from the beginning this book had me hooked. It’s one of those books once u pick it up u don’t wanna put it down, everything about it was amazing and had me wanting more I was so immersed in the characters and the world building I just kept getting lost in this book over and over and over again I can’t wait to get the next book in the series!

Was this good? Depending on how you define it, but not really. But was it fun? It was a little break for my brain and I enjoyed it. I especially appreciated that the main character was not a virginal little girl, and some of the other icky romantasy power dynamics this story managed to avoid. There was a lot of interesting things at the core behind the so-so writing and the story and characters were engaging. I'm curious to see what else this author does and how she improves!
