(rated 3.5 stars) This book proved to be better than I originally thought it was going to be. I was fairly intrigued through the novel, though it could use a touch more editing to cut unneeded prose and to trim scenes that do nothing for the story. Having never read anything by this author before, I can honestly say that I think I might check out more of his works if I ever get the opportunity and am in the mood for something along the lines of th types of novels he writes.

I really enjoyed this trilogy, all the inside info in spycraft (is that a word?) anyway the ending left me almost wishing I hadn’t invested the time in reading these three books, but I get it.

"Parçalanma, biz hepimiz casusuz, ajanız, gelinciğiz, hayatta kalmak her şeye değer. Putin'in canavarımsı yılan çukurunu yenmek her şeye değer, Nate'in ölmesini izlemek zorunda kalsan, dushka, ya lyublyu tebya vsem serdtsem, seni tüm kalbimle seviyorum"

Kremlin'in Adayı ile Kızıl Serçe üçlemesini bitirdim.

What. An. Ending to this series. Definitely better than book 2, about on par with book 1. Still felt it was a little lengthy but the twists and turns all tied together in the end. A great spy series, and though I’m a little sad it’s over I feel like it ended at a perfect point.
