Really enjoyed this one! I loved that essentially it was a Frisch's Big Boy chain versus a family-owned deli.

-how fitting that i finish reading this book on valentine's day LMFAO
-this book was kind of rlly generic like 'perfect mary sue meets class clown' is about as generic as it gets; the execution was pretty good so props for that
-help all the characters in this book have so much drive, like they have goals they wanna reach etc; like help no that's not like me
-pepper was relatable as someone who doesn't know what they wanna do with their life until like she reached a decision within 3 seconds after prompted
-ok bye

This was… fine. It had a lot of heart and was kinda funny at times.

But. Literally what multi-million dollar company would hand their social media presence to a 17 year old? Yes she is the daughter of the CEO but what does the board think??? I actually liked the part where it was brought up that, and she said that she was a high school student and should not have the responsibility to run the account.
That jack would run the account for a small family-owned diner made sense at least.

Also, they go to a fancy private high school but still have to use the public pool? Ok

This was one of the cutest readings I did this year.

PepperJack were very much like any teenager, but their cheesy story was very heartwarming, and all I needed this week, (month? maybe year…).

An adorable romcom, but I got way too invested in the Twitter war....

all the drama had me STRESSED

A Twitter war between a big burger chain and an independent restaurant/cafe goes viral, but life gets complicated when the two teenagers managing the social media for each realize they might be starting to catch feelings.

If you can allow room for some suspension of disbelief, this is a charmer, though I was heartily annoyed by all the parents in this book, they're not really the point here, and the main pair here are pretty fun to follow and the story moves along well. As I said, the parents' poor judgment here gets a little obnoxious at times but it's a fun read.

Cute, fun YA read
