I would like these more if the highlanders spoke like highlanders. I want them to have accents like Jamie in the outlander series.
oh dear me does Banks know how to pull a tear jerker. Withiut spoiling anything this was an amazing sequal to the first book and I have already started the last book in the series which almost seemlessly slid into this one. Great characters, great plot. Amazing book.
This was a sweet story of the second McCabe brother Alaric and a McDonald healer named Keeley who fall inconveniently in love. Their love for each other was touching after Keeley's sacrifice I definitely shed tears. I couldn't wait to find out if their love overcame all the odds and read this in only two sittings. Much better than the first book and looking forward to the third!

I couldn't stop listening to this book!! So good. I can't wait to read #3! I borrowed the audio version from the library, and it was the first audio book that I actually enjoyed!
