Dr. Theo Cray is not as charming in this as he was in the previous one.

Loved it! Constant suspense, intricate characters, juicy plot twists and leaves the reader wondering what "the greater good" really means. Highly recommended.

Better than The Naturalist. Andrew Mayne’s character Theo Cray is the perfect balance between an action hero and a true scientist. The plot development is excellent and the writing is superb.

Holy shitballs, I thought the first book was good but this one was even better. I love the mix of science and crime.

Almost like Candyman!

Amazing story and I was hooked too soon. I was captivated because it’s similar to the Candyman story but also completely different. The fact the system is that corrupt that it lets a child murderer, kidnapper, and rapist go free to have a CIA informant is just sad.
