This was a good story, and a good ending to the angel's of elysium series. I loved the characters and how they come together, and their story! And I'm sad it's over! The audio on this was good and I was excited we got the guy's perspective!

Inject this into my veins

I LOVE THIS WITH MY SOUL

I loved the first two books in this series and gave them both 5 star ratings. I fully expected that would be the case for this one as well, but alas, although I enjoyed this one, there were a few things that I did not love.

Firstly, I felt like there were more than a few questionable choices being made by the heroes. Mainly because I was suspicious of some key characters right from the start. (Correctly, I might add.)

Secondly, for most of this, I sadly didn't much care for Adam. He was quick to think the worst about Naya (just about every time she said or did anything), acted like a petulant boy when things didn't go his way, and made impulsive decisions in some very dangerous situations.

And lastly, it felt like it took too long for Naya and Adam to even be friendly toward each other. And even when they finally began showing their attraction to one another (which started pretty late in the book, like around the last 30%, or so), those moments felt very ill-timed. Like, how the hell can they be thinking about sex right now?
SpoilerPeople are being murdered in front of them, their friends are lying "dead" somewhere, and they are in the violent killer's home preparing to assassinate a King, and NOW seems like a good time to get nekkid and nasty? It kinda took something special away from their first time together. As did the fact that Adam had been with so MANY women already, while Naya had been true to the literal man of her dreams, Jarod. A part of her soul remembered Jared, while his seemed to only remember Jared's sense of vengeance.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this book. A lot! Especially how it finally ended and the epilogue. It just didn't hit me in the heart quite the same way the other books had.

So much LOVE! I really felt this series in my bones. If you have come this far into the series just read this feathering book! It’s plucking wonderful, you won’t regret it

I am so glad this series ended with a happy ending!

Seriously, so worth the read!

Compulsive listen, if a bit long in parts. The events from previous books set the story for this one and culminate in a satisfying way. Lots of action, intrigue and plenty of spice.

Omggggggg

Thank god this book end with happy tears. I mean yeah, I'm sobbing AGAIN, but I'm 100% okay with that.

I'm so sad this series is over
