You really feel like you're reading about 18 year olds, having very '18 year old' fall outs, all while they run around and infiltrate a human trafficking ring? It just didnt compute for me.

A brilliant end to a fantastic trilogy, just the right amount of remembering from book 1 but it didn’t overshadow Adam & Naya’s own story. I understand why but I would have liked when they got together to not have felt quite so instant as it seemed a bit odd placed from Adam’s side occasionally, but overall such a great book. A cool (but twisted) plot line with some great side characters and so many heart melting moments. I cried multiple times in this one again! Loved it.
Graphic: Gun violence, Violence, Blood, Murder
Moderate: Body horror, Death, Vomit, Medical trauma, Alcohol, Sexual harassment, Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Child death, Kidnapping, Pregnancy
I received a copy of this book from the author.
This book was the ending we needed for this series.
Adam and Naya's story ties it all back together in a gut-wrenching finish.
Olivia Wildenstein artfully crafted another enemies-to-lovers which had me in tears more than once. Naya and Adam have such strong personalities but grow so much through their journey.
As always, the writing is very polished and emotionally charged. It is easy to read this book in a matter of hours, even if it is over 500 pages.
Wonderful series which I strongly recommends for anyone who loves paranormal romance, strong worldbuilding, amazingly flawed characters, and sophisticated prose.

Uhhh yeah not as good as the previous one.
The love story was great (I kind of like the whole reincarnated love thing so long as we start with the first pair) and the old characters were great too.
What bored me to tears was the main plot aka the whole secret agent/spies rescue mission they had going on. I almost DNF’d this a few times because I had zero interest in any of it. Uck. Spent way too much time on that.
But, like its predecessors, the lore/worldbuilding around Elysium is always cool. And super unique to most of what I have seen in this genre.
