First comic in the Fairest series, and as I have read the Cinderella version, I wanted to start at the beginning.
I really enjoy it and found it a fab quick and fast paced read, with lots of characters who we know from the fairytales, this is just a quirky take on them all.
I look forward to seeing what the other books bring.

I didn't know what to expect when I picked this out. I liked the art a lot but the story wasn't overly engaging.
The Fable series (and these side series) are some of my favorite graphic novels. The stories are usually fun, and the artwork is really good, especially in this one. Loved it!

A nice spinoff for the main series. This particular one was pretty okay-ish in my opinion but that's just because I wasn't crazy about the main characters. The story itself was still pretty fun and entertaining, especially the parts with Briar Rose's backstory.
Wonderful story, astounding artistry. loved the end story. one of the best fables additions so far.
As always, it is such an exquisite pleasure to read Bill Willingham's rewriting of fairy tales!
