First read of 2024. Didn’t think I could like a couple more than Emilia and wrath but envy and Camilla r up there

This whole book I wanted to hug Envy and tell him it would be ok.

i feel frustrated with this book because it had the potential to be so much better, it simply needed to be shorter, tighter, and less repetitive. the first 40-50% was a lot of fun, but the character work got a bit superficial in the second half of the book, and some of the twists at the end made me roll my eyes because they weren't build up properly so they felt cheap. Envy and Camilla's constant back-and-forth got tedious halfway through, and it didn't feel believable after a while. a perfect guilty pleasure read, tho.
