Well, well, well, what a spectacular way to wrap up the Eerie-on-Sea series! 'Mermedusa' is the only one I listened to (thanks to my library's limited collection), and let me tell you, it was quite the experience. Frankly, I'm glad it was an audiobook because my eyes would have been too busy shedding tears of heartache and sheer delight.
Thomas Taylor has this knack for spinning yarns that grab your attention and refuse to let go. I mean, it's a five-book series, and I've been as captivated as a squirrel who discovered a hidden stash of acorns.
I must confess that these books are not just for kids, and I have indisputable proof—I'm a forty-something woman and couldn't tear myself away. I'd say these books are like the Bermuda Triangle of literature; they have this mysterious power to make time disappear
As I say goodbye to Herbie, Violet, and the rest of the quirky Eerie-on-Sea residents, I can't help but feel a tad bereaved.
But what's not bereaving is the thought of revisiting Eerie-on-Sea—I mean, there are more mysteries to uncover, right, Thomas? If not, I'll be impatiently waiting for your next literary escapade.
In conclusion, thank you, Mr. Taylor, for this rollercoaster of a reading adventure. I can't wait to share it with my nieces—they're in for a wild, eerie ride!

I absolutely frigging love this series! So much cuteness, fun characters, exciting and dangerous adventures - just great middle grade novels!

Genuinely sad that this series is over, I'm definitely not the target audience of this series but it holds a lot of the elements series I loved growing up did so it satisfied that desire for nostalgia while getting something new and I really enjoyed that element of this series. This series was truly wonderful and wrapped up beautifully. I'll miss Eerie-On-Sea
