The plot was far fetched and moved quicker then made sense. The constant dialogue from the narrator was annoying and did not help me to like any of the characters.

This was a fun read, I like how she isn't drooling over hot guy(s) and she sees when they are trying to play with her feelings and tries to stand up for herself.

There is a lot going on and not much is explained, story is intriguing and sexy times are 🔥 🥵

I love the map at the beginning of the book. So I don’t love that this is mostly from her POV, and we don’t even get her name immediately. In chapter 6, we can finally get a name for the character: she is Morgan. Morgan is a librarian at the Dragerfield Library. She and her best friend Lexie work at this strange library in Maine. It seems to house otherworldly books and more. She is very human but loves her job and her life.

One night, her world changes as she ends up at the mysterious library in the middle of the night. Turns out her bestie isn’t who she thinks she is. But I’m more fascinated with Drager, the Sun God. Omg, the fact that her bestie is a paranormal and the library is a portal to a Faerie world is remarkable.

Somehow, her circumstances get even more bizarre with now a faerie fertility event in the library on Earth and, of course, the God of the Sun as her unexpected partner. This story gets hot and steamy. And I’m wondering what now?

I’m enjoying the fantasy parts of this story in the other world. Drager is possessive and Alpha, but he finally agrees to Morgan learning something important. She gets sent to learn about Faerie at the neutral academy. This should be intriguing; her humanity is still coming into play. Her time at the academy, learning curve, and new experiences are fascinating. Also, her connection to the fallen.

Ah, this book ends on an adventurous cliffhanger. Of course, Morgan in this fantasy land of Dragons and fallen gods is captivating. I definitely want to read more in this series.

Didn’t really know what to expect from this book, but I liked it!

The language is very modern, so I guess that can be bothersome for some people. But I didn’t mind it, think it fits with the story. The FMC is from our modern world after all.

Can’t say I like the MMC Drager tho, to controling and to little showing of caring emotions.

It made me think of Tamlin and Rhysand from ACOTAR, how Rhys shows how he cares and really sees her properly.

I like Zahak a lot more, and his pet Astra, would so love to coudle with her!

An Lexi seems like a really good friend, always has Morgans back!

Will be nice with a bit more action in the next book, or so I think anyway, with that ending!

Okay 85% of this book was so un-serious that I wanted to DNF badly. I am glad I stuck with it though, because the last 60 odd pages were actually good and the plot was starting the gain momentum - it made me want to read the next book.

The scene were
Spoilerthe FMC uses the MMC's cock as a handle to bring herself upright had me lol'ing around the place.
This is how unserious the book is.

Side note: this is in no way a fantasy in any stretch of the imagination - Gilded Wings reads like a paranormal romantic comedy.

I still enjoyed it though.
