Why Choose Romance With Great World Building!
what an epic read! I love Eve as an author, and this book didn’t disappoint. It’s hard to describe the whole vibe of the book, but it was really well written, and I love the dialogue and steam. However, I’m bummed that the next book is not coming out until March 2024.

DNF at 38%.
Was shaping up to be a fine, if slightly silly story with an annoying FMC, for the first 20-25%. And then it just kept dragging on, and the MMC kept being so rude and rough with her, and a brother was introduced as another love interest, and it just all kinda wasn't working for me.

I’m giving this 3.5 stars despite it turning into an annoying love triangle/why choose thing at the end, which I absolutely hate… we’ll see how book 2 goes when it comes out

3.5 stars. It’s interesting and a good read but so many questions and I felt the whole 30 day fertility ritual was kind of unneeded. It didn’t really add anything to the story.
Didn’t even make it past 12% before I shelved this as “hot garbage”. The writing is so juvenile it physically hurts, especially after loving her Shadowbeast Shifters series. The FMC is just another “not like other girls” girl (funny how there are so many of these girls out there /s), with a head full of mindless inner monologues.
The book slump continues!
