“She lived in happy solitude, and grew old, and never worried when her beauty faded, for in her reflection she always saw a free woman.”

I really enjoyed this, I think the Grishaverse fairytales are quite good. They're definitely better than the trilogy that's for sure.

This is a very short story fairy tale. It only took a few minutes to read, but was good. It’s about a woman so beautiful that her father locked her away and set tasks for her suitors. This fits in before the final book in the Grisha Trilogy. A good book to read from the library, but not long enough to bother buying.

Well, that was unexpected.
For the most part of the story I was annoyed by most of the characters and I really didn't want to read about them. But the ending tho! The end was amazing. Simply amazing.

I love these Ravkan folktales!! Very reminiscent of tales we know, but with their own twist. Leigh Bardugo is one heck of a writer! :)

I loved this one a lot of all the short stories between this one and the Witch of Duva are amazing. I love old stories like this and this one was probably been my absolute favorite of the side novel/wivestales. I adore it!

This short story was fit perfectly with the other two and was just as nice a read. It didn't have as much of a shocking twist at the end though, which probably makes it slightly less memorable.

Another beautifully written short story by Leigh Bardugo. This story teaches you to never be greedy and to choose your own path in life. I really enjoyed this!

This was by far my favorite of the Ravkan folk tales! It was beautiful and fierce, and I loved it.
