I have so many emotions running through me right now. This book is so much more than just a love story.

When I first read it, I gave it 4⭐️ but after rereading it, I changed my rating to 4.75⭐️. This story truly deserves it. However, I must warn you, it's a slow-burn that requires patience but it's worth it.

Right now, I can only think about Tom and Charlie. Their love was pure and beautiful and they didn't deserve the tragedy that befell them. It breaks my heart to think about what they went through and I wish they could have lived their lives together, even if it meant hiding their love from the world. I couldn’t stop crying and I think I cried even more than the first time.

What gives me hope, is that Cole and Tanner come into the picture years later and bring some sort of justice to Tom and Charlie's story. Now, a proud queer couple is living on the same property and love fills those walls once again. They make a beautiful couple and I’m glad that these two lost souls have found each other.

This book is a heartbreaking reminder of the struggles faced by LGBTQ+ individuals throughout history. It's a tribute to all the Charlies and Toms who couldn't be themselves and love who they wanted. It also reminds me of Peter's uncle from the 90s Coming of Age series by Leta Blake. Fiction or not, we can't forget the real people who suffered during that time and those who still face discrimination today.

This book is truly amazing! Maybe I should give it 5⭐️ after all.

This book totally blew me away. Between the unforeseen future of Charlie and Tommy to the real life struggles between Tanner and Cole this was a highly emotional rollercoaster. The depth of characters and the intertwining of the lives of the four men was outstanding. Completely heart wrenching. I could not put it down and finished it in a few hours, but it will stay in my thoughts for days to come.

Ia dar 3 pq femorou p eu ficar entediada mas desisti, dabe? Mta repetição, todo capitulo eles acordam trabalham jantam, falam as mesmaa coisas. Cada capitulo ser um POV só deixa tudo mais repetitivo pq várias vezes é a mesma situação contada pelo POV dos dois.
Enfim, é clichê, é previsível, meio piegas, e no final eu nem me importava com nenhum dos personagens. Prefiro perder meu tempo lendo fanfic.
