This is a really lovely romance. McQuiston writes phenomenal characters that feel real and alive. Alex and Henry and their journey is well written: steamy, sincere, charming. I particularly loved the bonus “epilogue” from Henry’s POV in this edition.

I got it for Christmas and read it while lowkey avoiding family, haha.
I love that it was a sort of parallel universe to our own. Especially how today as I’m writing this review, the two main characters are nearing their first kiss with each other! (New Years for 2020)
To be honest, I’ve become so used to slow burn love stories that this story not being a slow burn made it all the better.
This book was exhilarating!
