This book is a mix of ACOTAR, Throne of Glass and Harry Potter. I desperately needed this book to be good and it delivered.
I woke early just to read it. It was a chef kiss masterpiece and I’m looking for the second book the series tonight.
The High Mountain Court begins the journey of the fugitive red witch Remy as she fights to reclaim her kingdom and discover what's inside her heart. For thirteen years, nineteen-year-old Remy has known she is possibly the last red witch alive, and she is determined to stay that way.
I stoped giving star ratings but this was a damn masterpiece.
Great fantasy read with witches and fae. Quite a bit of world building, but kept me hooked on the story. Remy is a kickass FMC and Hale was everything. Excellent character and story development. Lots of tension and spice towards the last third of the book.

This was entertaining. I really like books about Fae, this was interesting with the witches but it was really predictable. I didn't feel a connection to the characters it went from we're probably want to kill you to we are all besties too fast.
It went from zero to way too much spice all too fast. I think if I'd cared more about the characters I'd have been more invested.
I don't think it is some I'd re read but I'd probably read the next one especially if it's on offer on Kindle like the first.
