4.5 stars!! Okay yes!! Nothing to revolutionary for the romantasy genre here but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it! (I know that’s subject to opinion) I loved the witches and fae and magic and of course the sprinkling of smut. And what’s life without a good heist scene where they pretend they’re gonna smash on the poker table???

i love love loved this book, i held off on reading it for so long which i regret now! but omg remy i love her to death and hale is just so fine at least the way i pictured him AND FINALLY A KINDA SLOW BURN, OF TWO FATED MALES?!?! WHEN DOES THAT EVER HAPPEN!!!! IM GLAD IT DID

The only reason why this book isn't 5 stars for me is because the ending felt a little bit rushed. But then again that could also just be a me thing.
I did enjoy this book and will most likely read the rest of the series as well.

Very standard fantasy Novel. Quite enjoyed the first 2/3 however lost its edge in the later 1/3. I think this is often seen in standalone fantasy novels as authors are rarely unable to land the plane adequately. I quite liked the two protagonists together and enjoyed their meeting and romance.

This is such a great story! Fated mates, an impossible quest, Faes and Witches, and a bad ass female main character. What more could you ask for in a fantasy book?! I could not put this down and read it in less than a day! Looking forward to book two.
