The pace of this book was good! It’s well written but I found it to be a little too predictable for my taste. It also felt a little too «insta-love » which is a trope I’m not too keen about. I’m really interested to see where book two takes us!

Almost DNF multiple times.

This book was fantastic, I could not put it down. Fated mates, found family, fae, witches, and everything you could want in a fantasy novel

I liked it but then got the ick

If I could give this 6 stars….. heck if I could give this 10 stars I would!

The world building was phenomenal - I felt completely immersed in Okrith and enjoyed every second of it.

The pace was great- at no point was I bored or confused- just eager to see what delights were around the corner.

I loved the magic system; the use of colour to define different types of witches and powers.

The romance was perfect and had me swooning!
The spice was on point!

It has representation- a curvy POC heroine, as well as non-binary and LGBT rep (with more to come if my hunches are right!)

I enjoyed every second I spent reading this book- it ticked all the boxes for me and I can’t wait to continue on with this journey!

Kept getting taken out of the book because the FMC is named Remus and all I could think about was the rat from Ratatouille
