Redic. This book is like a soap opera your gma had you watch in the 90s. It took me a while to finish bc it’s very crazy. I read this bc two friends kept talking about it and I love anything Teddy Hamilton reads. The gun scene is meh I just kept thinking about how dirty that gun was and wishing he had cleaned it before. I also can’t remember if they said if the gun was empty or not. The FMC is not likable she’s annoying and so fucking dumb. The flashbacks to her gma are also cray. Z is described as not that hot bc of all his scars and his eye. Poor Teddy’s voice was washed on this shit. Idk this book is legit crazy and not in a good way. I finished it bc I’m not a quitter and I hate leaving a book halfway done. Probably will not read the second part idk yet. I think it just sucked bc the main characters were so ridiculous and poorly written.
Hmmm if you enjoyed this, you probably need therapy - but no judgement here I did enjoy it in a weird like “wtf did he just do” kinda way… oof... wtf did I just read? And why am I still reading… lol A friend recommended this to me and I gotta say it is pretty “girls worst nightmare meets this could be a kink Im maybe into...” This left me questioning my sanity a bit, so so many trigger warnings, you've been warned.
Also note - the ONLY person with ANY sense in this is probably the FMCs best friend.

This book is a masterpiece! Had me on the edge of my sofa the last 2 days. Loved the way the author made me love a crazy ass stalker, I think his job plays a big part of this too… or maybe I’m just crazy along with Addie
This is such a strange book. I'm happy it worked for some of you freaks (endearing), but yeah, not for me.
This was the strangest book I’ve ever read, and I feel weird saying I loved it, but I did. It kept me captivated and shook the entire time. I’ve never read a 500+ page book so quickly. Can’t wait to read the second book.

Jei matėt/skaitėt ,,You", tai jau žinot kas toks yra Joe. Tai šitos knygoj Zade yra Joe ant steroidų. Joe problemos bent jau paaiškinamos įvairiom traumom, o Zade tiesiog gal susitrenkęs galvą yra. Šiaip nuo pradžių viskas lygtais nekaltai prasideda, bet paskui shit goes down really quick.
Turbūt nesu skaičiusi jokios kitos knygos, kur būtų toks conflicting herojus (ar antiherojus). Zade elgiasi grubiai su Adeline (išprievartauja ją, pvz), bet laisvu laiku nuo persekiojimo gaudo vaikų prievartautojus ir juos žudo. Atseit bando pasaulį išvalyt nuo blogio. Iš vienos pusės ,,wtf dude", iš kitos - ,,nu kokią gerą misiją daro". Įdomi buvo ta linija, kur Zade gaudė tuos blogiukus. O šiaip tai jaučiuosi labai keistai, nežinau, ar mėgti jį ar ne. Love-hate, maybe?
Kitas aspektas: persekiojimas virstantis į laukinį seksą, atjungiančius orgazmus ir neregėtą malonumą. Bent jau taip Adeline jaučiasi. Nuo baimės iki meilės vienas žingsnis, ne? Man tai čia Stokholmo sindromu kvepia. Be kita ko, Adeline mėgsta siaubo filmus, ir visi creepy dalykai ją literally užveda, tame tarpe ir Zade persekiojimas, grasinimai, sado-mazo stuff.
Negaliu pasakyti, kad kai kurie spicy intarpai nepatiko. Tikrai ne visur buvo malonu, ir tikrai cringe ir creepy, bet vis tiek skaičiau užgniaužus kvapą ir max rijau el.knygos puslapius. Ar aš turiu problemų su morale? O gal tai rodo mano norą į kažkokius fetišus? Retoriniai.

Oof. Overall I liked the book. It left me wanting to read more. Did I feel like Zane was hypocritical, for sure but it was definitely a page turner. I wanted a more complete ending, definitely makes me want to read the next book though just to see how it ends.
