Finally! Finally, we get Ella’s story. I’ve been so curious about how her story would play out. I have to admit, I was on the fence about William coming back. Ever since I really got to know him in becoming Lady Thomas, I was not his fan. I had good reason for not liking him and I was even more sure of those feelings when I read this book. I’m not going to go into any more of the details about this book, because I don’t want to give anything away. Let’s just say that the phrase “Things aren’t as they seem” definitely apply’s here.
You are pulled into Ella’s story from the first page. Her story is captivating. Her character grows and transforms so much. My heart hurt for her, for the things she had to experience. I for one, devoured this book. I read it in under two hours. I just wanted to know more about Ella. Her story was one of romance, suspense, murder and steam. This book had so many great twists and turns and I loved every second of it. K. Webster, you have definitely made me a fan of historical romance!

Becoming Mrs. Benedict is the third installment in the Becoming Her series. I think it can be read as a stand alone without issue but is better when the series is read in the order that the author intended.
Ella is the youngest of the sisters. Ella feels like she's been abandoned by her sisters. They have all moved on in their lives leaving her to take care of their ailing father. Knowing that his end is near, she's preparing herself but what she isn't prepared for is the sudden appearance of William Benedict. Will he be her salvation or her nightmare?
Allcott has been biding his time waiting to properly court Ella after one chance meeting. He's not the same person he once was and now needs to prove that to Ella any way that he can.
This series is unlike anything else K. Webster has done. I hadn't heard a lot about this series so finding it was a like finding a rare gem. I liked the pace, the chemistry and the suspense with this one.
