I really, really enjoyed this book. I found that the author was too verbose at times and just wanted her to get on with it. And after I finished, I still agreed that we could have done without so many minute details. But it hooked me well enough to read the rest of the series. Oh, there was surprise sex too. I didn't go into it thinking there would be, but there was PLENTY!

Really good in some parts, but it kept losing me in a lot. I feel like the plot dragged a bit. I know it’s book 1 of many but i was expecting a lot more from the first book. It left me with too many unanswered questions.

Still haven’t decided if I should read the rest of the series…
