The Bone Season revisions continue to be perfect. This entry in the series is short but very impactful, so much happens to Paige, I’m constantly in awe of how incredible this series is. Thank you Samantha, I hope your pillow is always nice and cool
Idk why I’m enjoying a series so much where the main character is constantly suffering, but here we are

possible spoilers for the bone season and the mime order!
a summary of my thoughts: very much enjoyed this one, but not as much as the first two installments in the series.
whereas the mime order was just as explosive as the bone season, i feel like this third book suffered a little bit from 'second book syndrome'. being in the same setting as the mime order, the first half felt a little slow and like it was focused only on tying up loose ends from the previous book. however, that second half was absolutely crazy - i'm pretty sure i read the last 100 pages in one sitting. i loved the direction that samantha shannon took the plot, and has me so excited for the next book!
obviously i'm still obsessed with warden - i'm happy that he's getting some more 'screen time', and i think, through him, we're learning a lot about the intricacies of the politics of this world.

This one read a bit slower to me than the first two for some reason, but those last two chapters were insane…intense scenes, revelations, twists, and so many more questions lol. The next one is about to go crazy 👏👏👏
