this is so difficult to rate bc it’s all over the place.
The stories really far in the past were interesting, but I don’t think novellas are a good way to connect to new characters. I was struggling to connect with all the new people. It also just felt like set up for Chain if Gold- great because I’m reading it soon, but what if I hadn’t read this, would I be confused going into Chain of Gold?
Most of the stories follow Jem - most of these I was pretty lukewarm about, unfortunately.
My favorite stories were featuring characters from The Mortal Instruments. The story of young Jace and Jem was great.
Of course, the best story in this wrap up was the novella about Alec adopting Rafe. It was heartwarming and adorable and I loved it.

This book is marvelous, I wasn’t aware that it will have so much information for future books and to fill gaps from the past, I loved knowing all these new information.
This book have beautiful stories, full of sentiments and emotions that made me cry and laugh, I really really loved it.
But this 5/5 stars are because these stories are related to my favorite character of all and it made me feel so wonderful things being with him trough the centuries he lived and how he learned so much.
Not only bc of that are these five stars but it’s pretty much why a loved this book

It was an excellent book. Just got a little boring in the end, but in all, nice.
