AARON DOES IT AGAIN!

She keeps recommending me books she hasn't read but feels like they'd be my vibe. I keep putting them off and second guessing her cause SHE HASN'T READ THEM! But when I tell you that this girl is right EVERY

Wow. Wild ride, very well written. But I’m a sucker for stories about theatre or moviemaking.

Two wonderful imperfect women as leads, beautifully developed characters. 5 ⭐️ out of 5. Some great plot twists, some astute observations on familiar slices of life.

Can’t wait for her next book. Layne and her Unlikeable Female Characters coconspirators are my new favorite trio of writers.

This book startedout a little slow for me but it did pick up and drew me in then my interest and I really liked the book.

To me it was good, some of it was pretty slow though. I guess maybe since I’m not someone who’s ever been a part of theater. The ending did shock me, & I was a little taken back it didn’t at least show what happened to Kira afterwards or her reaction. But for most of the book I feel I had to force myself through until I got about 75% done did I get more intrigued.

This was a good, brainless and quick read. If you are a fan of 50 Shades, this will do it for you. Much more of a romance than a thriller, in my opinion.

Temper is a twisted, dark, intriguing and captivating novel. It focuses on the dark, violent side of acting. Joanne and Malcolm own a theatre production company. Malcolm pushes actors too far and over the limit. The story is told in the perspectives of Kira, an actress who is willing to do whatever it takes to become the best. Joanna is an executive director who keeps her self a secret and sees Kira a threat to her relationship with Malcolm. The main themes are jealously and temptation. This razor-sharp page turner is my favorite psychological thriller novel of 2019. Layne Fargo keeps the readers guessing and wanting more.
