I have a new favorite book. I knew Lawson's book was going to be great, I never expected it to be this awesome. I loved Mitch, I completely loved Mara, I loved the kids. I felt for them, no kid should go through what they had to go through. Mara, I identified with her on some aspects, and it was a complete joy to read the journey from Mara's World to the real world and everything after.

I add this book to my 'forced-or-blackmailed' list because, seriously, Mitch Lawson is one hell of a dominating man. I LOVED HIM SO BAD IT ACTUALLY HURTS.

First of all, it's official. I'm in love with Kristen Ashley's style of writing. It's funny, witty, kind of confusing you have to read some lines twice in order to understand it yet once you understand it, you'll laugh your a$$ off.

I read Motorcycle Man last month (I think?) and I loved it. I didn't really like the cover because it's just so not attractive. But once I finished it, I'm in awe. I still didn't know that MM is the last (I guess?) installment of Dream Man series. In fact, I didn't know that MM is one of the installment of any series. Once I found out, I went to purchase the rest of the series.

But apparently I already have Law Man sitting in one of my 'abandoned' to-read folder on my tablet. Ha.

Once I see its cover, I remember months ago, being so not excited to read it because of the cover. It's awful, sorry to say. But now, after reading Motorcycle Man, I don't give a flying crap about the cover. I just read it right away.

God give you a very awesome talent, Kristen Ashley.

GAH!

Mostly because Mitch is surprisingly annoying yet he's very sweet and attentive. Hell, He's willing to help Mara is good but when he take care of TWO not-even-blood-related kids, spends like a lot of money and time, dude that's awesome.

But there are some parts when I really want to slap him because he's overbearing and constantly cutting Mara's conversations. That's not cool.

Mara on the other hand, she really needs to pull it together and stop denying Mitch. But the rest, I loved this book. Already purchased Mystery Man and Wild Man but I'm taking my time here.

So happy with how it turns out with Mara's sick aunt and mum, thank God for Bill for opening his eyes and so freaking jealous with Mara's life.

Keep up the good work, Miss Ashley. Seriously. 'Cause I still looking forward to read your other books. :)

If you read one of Kristen Ashley's books you've basically read them all.
One broken woman, one strong man, couple of problems that drove them together and you have it.
It was enjoyable read but flawed imo nevertheless.

Great read!

Maya was so adorable, and I loved the relationship Mitch established with billy, and billie. Not to mention he's a

I really liked this book, so far it's my favorite in the Mystery man series. I was shocked at the time fast forward at the end, but really loved it. The ending really made this book for me.

ah, just like in typical police officer fashion, he can only escalate every situation he is in and make things 10x worse.

Also main character girl is insecure, but not in a sympathetic way but in a annoying way because her literal opening line is her giving numerical ratings /10 to everyone she sees.  and continues to do that throughout the whole book. IDC if she also gives herself a low score to suddenly make the attractiveness rating system she views in the world in look any better- it's still fucking weird and shallow. We call those femcels.
