I loved everything about this story!! I didn’t want it to end!!
I love Ruby Dixon and I don't always read the blurb before reading her books. So, imagine my surprise when this book's hero wasn't a blue-guy, but a cat-guy. And, while the characters were actually pretty adorable, I wasn't personally into the hero being a cat-guy. The rest of the story was cute though, plus a few interesting characters were introduced.
DNF. I usually love Ruby Dixon's backstory and the plot but I wasn't in the right headspace for all the smutt. Even if they're not doing anything, they are thinking of it. And it got in my way of enjoying the plot.

Back to full size books! I was delighted to see that this book would feel like a full story and boy did we! There was adventure, so much plot, and I loved it just for that! The characters were amazing and it was great to get a story without a Messakah! This was the refresher I needed!
After reading the authors note, I could tell that the author loved writing this book and really connected with Kim while writing this. You can truly feel the passion in this book, and I am ready to take on the other books in her series!
Loved this addition to the Risdaverse! It was cool to learn more about the Praxian culture and I love the farm vibes.

These books actually never disappoint me!!! They are always what I need to get out of a slump!!! This was such a cute one longer than I was used to but I enjoyed the characters journeys. I think I’m going to jump to something else tho for the next book so stay tuned lollll
