i've had the volumes 2-6 on my bookshelf for like a couple years now, finally borrowed vol.1 from the library so i can get through them. obviously my scott pilgrim intro was through the movie and it was really fun to see just how well they executed it all??? like damn, that's good.
the comic was really fun as well, i'm having a blast with it, can't wait to finally read those dusty volumes!

"Scott Pilgrim Vs The World" is one of my favorite films of all time and i'm finally getting around to reading through the original material!!! So far, so good. It has an extra level of weird and fun than what the movie did, for me at least., but it's not like that is a bad thing. I am strongly hoping this will become a favorite series of mine that i will want to purchase physical copies of. I will update you guys on that under a review of the 6th volume when i'm done with it all. NOW ON TO VOL. 2!!! *tries not to pee self out of excitement*
I'm not even sure what this was about. I understood (by the end) that concept of the series is that the main character will battle ex-boyfriends for a chance to date a girl. Unfortunately almost the entirety of book 1 is devoted to adults and their relationships and their immature behaviors.
