I liked it! But I didn't like Scott and what he does.
As if I’m reading this for the first time two days before the anime on Netflix comes out, without even knowing it, almost 20 years after it was first published. What are the chances?

I absolutely loved Scott Pilgrim. I loved the characters, the story line is hilarious I was laughing throughout the entire book. At the beginning, Scott finds himself dating a high school student who all of his friends chastise him for, but who he thinks is totally rad. He lives and even shares a bed with his gay roommate Wallace, uses his credit cards to buy things, and uses all of Wallace's stuff. Scott begins to start seeing a girl in his dreams, and finally he sees her in person. Immediately he feels a connection to this girl, who he later finds out is Ramona Flowers, and convinces her to go out with him. PLUS, Ramona Flowers is like the most awesome name for a character ever! I thought Scott was the typical slacker "in-between jobs" 20 year old with no aspirations, and for this I wasn't going to like him as a character, but I thought he was great, super funny, and I can't wait to read the rest of the Scott Pilgrim series.
