A lovely summer read, I thoroughly enjoyed this, it was such a perfect break from life at the moment. Full of fantastic characters, really well written and a great story, I really do recommend this to anyone needing some lockdown escapism , so funny, simply a great romcom

Ever found yourself in a difficult decision and unsure which path to take? Josh feels like he always picks the wrong decision, so when his long-term girlfriend declines his marriage proposal and breaks up with him just after New Year he decides for the whole year he will leave his decisions to be made through flipping a coin.

I honestly found this book hilarious! The tinder dates, the crazy parents, Josh and his weird relationship with his rabbit - it was all really entertaining! It’s nice to see a rom com in the perspective of a male and I loved how the story shifted towards the end with him on the hunt for his Sunflower girl. His friendship with Jessie and Jake complement the storyline as they help him get through the year (while obviously taking the piss at his mistakes). Perhaps we all should try flipping a coin for once, you could win £1000, travel across Europe or even meet the love of your life. I’d honestly recommend this if you are looking for a lighthearted witty read

This book was an emotional rollercoaster. The author did a great job of making the characters likeable and real enough that I genuinely cared what happened to them which meant that as some of the hard hitting events of the book took place, I definitely shed a tear or two. The reason for the 4 stars is that I got a bit concerned and then confused with what was happening like I might have missed a page towards the end, and don’t know if that was me not keeping up or really confusing writing. But nevertheless I thoroughly enjoyed the read overall and was happy with the way the story ended.

Heartwarming and sweet book!

This book grabbed me from the very first page and I was still gripped when I read the last page 6 hours after starting it.

Highly recommend this book if you are looking for a light hearted read.
