Once again, Dostoevsky masterfully captures and portrays the inner workings of a delusional individual.

Was pretty good, but wouldn't read it again

Dostoyevsky writes good crazy. I felt like I was going crazy reading this, and have certainly unpleasantly interacted with people of this sort. I can't say it was a pleasant read, and I can't say I felt much sympathy for the main character, but it was well done in the sense of putting you deeply into the consciousness of an insane person. Impressive! Docking one star because I think it could have been just as effective if it were a tad more concise. I understand the point of the repetition, but the audience would have gotten the gist with a touch less of it, methinks.
