Unrequited, the purest form of love.

-Stephen A.-

ugh-

I really struggled with the second half of this one. The love triangle dynamics were really weird and I couldn't quite understand the characters motivations or reasonings behind their actions.

Fine, it was fine.

3.11.1772 : "I suffer a lot."
Werther in a nutshell.

You know who else suffered a lot? Me, listening to these whiny and egocentric ramblings. It is implied that Wilhelm reads and answers his letters, so apparently he's fine with his 'friend' only talking about himself 24/7.

Werther claims to be a rebel who is sick of the conventions and narrow-mindedness of German Ständegesellschaft, but in reality he does absolutely nothing with his life but to harass that poor girl like the toxic entitled man-baby he is.

The language is beautiful of course, and as someone who's most listened artist is Lana del Rey I probably shouldn't be too judgy about all the melodrama. So 2 stars I guess...
