Another solid entry for this series. I enjoyed the more serious topics of this book vs the previous ones.

The portrayal of Briar and her difficulty trusting felt very well handled and the slower burn romance worked well for them as a couple. I LOVED Forrest's constant support and love for Briar and her daughters.

Same as the last 2 books, this is just sickly sweet, and the dialogue is over the top cringey. No one actually thinks or talks like this. I think I'm finally done with this series.

Forrest and Briar. Briar is a single mom of two twin daughters. When her and her sister move into a house that was passed down to them after their father died. Briar was graped at a young age and this lead to her conceiving her twins. She has no idea who the father is. Forrest is lonely after his friends and sister ended up with a significant other which lead to them having children. When Forrest runs into Briar, he instantly feels a connection to her and her girls.

The way this man instantly falls in love with the idea of Briar and her daughters. It was adorable and I loved every min of reading this book. It isn’t that spicy, but it has the wholesome small town feel with a single mom and a man who is determined to make them his. Sometimes you need an adorable, light book with a tattooed, gorgeous man.

𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲? is the 3rd book in the Everlasting Ink series by Kaylee Ryan, featuring an heartwarming age-gap, single mom romance for Forrest and Briar. Briar is a young single mom of twin girls with only her own twin sister as a support system! When her new friends invite her into their group, she wasn’t prepared for the force that was Emerson’s brother Forrest. They had an electric connection from the start, something she had never experienced and wasn’t ready for, but it was his overwhelming compassion and sweetness with her daughters that hit her straight in the heart. After everything she’s been through, is she ready to risk it all for a chance at love and family?

When I saw the title for Forrest’s story, my immediate response was, 𝒀𝒆𝒔 𝑰 𝑨𝒎!! This has become one of my favorite series, based on the compelling characters and their tight family bond. I knew that Forrest deserved a special woman, and Briar was perfect. The tease about her backstory was effective and you know it’s going to be a doozy, but for such a young woman she exuded an admirable strength, as she and her sister stood together to raise her adorable twin girls. I loved the authenticity of her emotions as she struggled to adjust to the whirlwind of being accepted into the Everlasting Ink family so suddenly, especially with her insecurities. However, Forrest cannot be denied. Talk about a man being laser focused on his mission!!😍 I think I fell for him as quickly as he fell for those little girls!! I swooned over every little interaction… the sweet nicknames, a makeover, story time, etc.🥰 And with Briar, this strong, muscled, tattooed man showed the utmost respect and love, as he followed her lead on what she felt comfortable with. I was happy even when I was crying.🥹 The epilogues and the downloadable bonus epilogue were sheer perfection, and I cannot wait to see the next man fall, so I can come back to this world!!

I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Oh, Forrest and Briar, you’ve got me swooning!

This book was like a warm hug wrapped in tattoos and sprinkled with glittery nail polish. From the moment Forrest stepped into Briar’s life, he was just… there. Not just for her, but for her twin daughters, making me melt faster than a popsicle in July. I mean, this man lets two little girls paint his nails, and he’s proud of it. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is!

Forrest is all rugged edges and inked skin, but he’s also got the soul of a marshmallow when it comes to Briar and her girls. He’s the kind of man who’d turn his world upside down to make them feel safe and cherished—and who doesn’t love a guy who’s tough on the outside but soft on the inside? Briar is a tough cookie herself, carrying her past scars, and watching her slowly trust, open up, and fall in love again was both heartwarming and beautifully real.

The chemistry between these two is undeniable, the kind that crackles off the page and has you rooting for their happy ending from the get-go. This story is all about love, family, and second chances—an absolute must-read if you’re a sucker for a good guy with a heart of gold and a heroine finding her way back to love. I’ll be thinking about Forrest, Briar, and those sparkly nails for a long time!

Are You Ready? By Kaylee Ryan
Book 3 : Everlasting Ink

I am obsessed! I seriously don’t think Kaylee could write a hero that I don’t fall head over heels for. Every single time I’m in my feels and struggle to put the book down!

Forrest and Briar’s love story was told so well. I loved their connection. The growth of both their relationship and Forrest’s relationship with the twins was beautiful to read. The girls at the end had me bawling.

I just fall in love with every world that Kaylee creates and I never want to leave. (PS take me back to the Kincaid boys
