In the previous books we have seen just how much Forrest and this group of found family truly are, but now as we dive into Forrest’s story we get to see just how much love this gentle giant has to give. Forrest wants what he’s friends have found, love, and he knows someone out there is made for him, but he isn’t expecting that she comes as his sister’s friend, Briar. Briar’s past hasn’t been an easy one and now she is very hesitant when it comes to trusting other people and she will fiercely protect her twin daughters like no other, but when she is welcomed in the Everlasting Ink fold she’s overwhelmed with how much this group care for those they love. Forrest knows Briar has been hurt before but for her and her daughters he is willing to take how ever long it will take for Briar to trust in him. These two were just made for each other and they have some issues that they need to work out, but seeing them come alive for each other was the absolute best and watching Forrest love not only Briar but her kids will melt your heart a 1,000 times over.

Are you Ready? It is one of those books you want to go blind to; the storytelling is amazing, and the characters are relatable and memorable. Briar’s story will tug at your heart, but together, Forrest and Briar will mend it. The twins will steal it, and Forrest will have you swooning.

I love the Everlasting Ink family and Forrest, Briar, and the twins are everything. This book has a found family and emotional baggage which is healed throughout the book. I loved the patience and understanding that Forrest shows Briar from the beginning.
Briar's backstory is a lot, you can tell by the walls she erects between people she is unsure of, that her past was bad. When we finally learn what happened, it was really bad. She is a strong woman and Forrest is there healing the bent parts slowly and she begins to trust and love again. I loved how quickly Forrest bonds with the twins and the nicknames they share is the sweetest.
Forrest is one of the best men I have ever seen. He is willing to wait until Briar is comfortable with what he sees for their future. When she asks the deep questions, he asks "are you ready?" and if she isn't he waits and only tells her the important things she needs to know. He has so much love to give and such a kind heart. I couldn't imagine a better family for Briar and Brogan to heal feel safe with. A few tissues will be necessary, Briar and Forrest's book hit all the feels. I love this family and I cannot wait to see more of the Everlasting Ink family.

I loved this novel! Kaylee Ryan is fast becoming a must read author for me. Ryan’s works have a cozy and comfortably to them that make me feel wrapped up tight in a warm hug. Are You Ready? Is a sweet and romance third installment in Ryan’s Everlasting Ink series and can easily be read as a standalone. Ryan’s tone is clear and joyful, her characters are enriching and her romance is low angst perfection perfect for a cozy evening of reading! I fell easily into this story and kept turning page after page, making this the perfect story to devour in one sitting. I adored this novel, these character and this world and I will definitely be reading the first two in the series and eagerly anticipating the next installments.

I love the relationship that Forrest builds with Briar’s daughters and almost from the first moment he sees them as his own. This novel is a warm hug in which found family, trust and understanding reign supreme!
Briar and Forrest are the perfect match for the other. Through soft moments, consent and bravery these two learn to ask and fight for what they want. Forrest is the perfect partner for his girls and he only wants them to be happy and healthy. Briar is a wonderful mom who is learning to trust others and welcome in new relationships. Kaylee Ryan shows the strength of community and found family and that you are only as strong as the support system around you.
