A short snappy read with an interesting premise.  

Frankly, I could’ve done without the brief and totally unnecessary mention of a

I loved the film adaptation so I was excited to read this. The book was just ok. The story didn’t catch my attention as much and I didn’t like some of the more expositional chapters. 

I’m not a huge sci fi fan so in order to draw me in, this book needed to be more fun that it was.

I enjoyed this. The point-of-view character isn’t exactly sympathetic and I enjoyed the flashbacks more than the primary storyline, but what a fascinating universe!
