I was really happy to go back into the world of Magnus Chase. I loved how each story is somewhat connected to the other (especially through Thor's little jog session). I love the characters and even in these short interactions they did not disappoint.
I would have liked something longer. I would have loved if Magnus would have made an appearance (I totally ship Alex and Magnus 😄). But I also understand why he didn't. I really don't believe anyone would have been happy with just a short story featuring Magnus Chase (I know, I wouldn't 😏).
All in all, I was happy to go back into one of Rick Riordan's worlds.

I enjoyed all the POVs and look into the different worlds. This was borderline silly bc how low the stakes were lol.
The character and world artwork in the book was my favorite part! Definitely get the physical copy so you can marvel at it!

This was so silly and cute. I love when authors do short stories after the series. I just feel like really, Rick must have had the most fun just being absolutely ridiculous because Thor is gassy and it can melt snow and there's a talking sword who sings to stun his enemies

Short review for a short book ! Fans of the trilogy (or just the Riordanverse in general) will appreciate these short stories. Even though the book is only 150 pages and the stories are not exceptional, it's still a great way to spend some more time in this world and with these amazing characters. Bonus point to the gorgeous artworks at the beginning of each chapter, it's exactly how I imagined the characters in my head, and I need them in print !
