Well I'll be...l did not expect this to be much of anything yet this really was worth the read/ listen.
The beginning and middle section was a little bit slow but oh my did it pick up, then the end gave me thriller/ horror! So very unexpected and at the same token, this was a very enjoyable read. I was not prepared for that ending!!! Job well done…
I gave this 4 stars because Jack jumped timelines in the middle of a timeline one too many times.

Ania Ahlborn has quickly become my new favorite horror/thriller author, and this book is no exception! It's disturbing and utterly impossible to put down. From the chilling plot twists to the deeply unsettling atmosphere, every page kept me on the edge of my seat!

Seed started out strong. I wished I had known that there is extreme violence against pets. I tried checking ahead of time and couldn’t find a clear answer. Also against kids if that bothers you. The character development was strong although I immediately dismissed mom and unreliable and likely evil when she said she couldn’t get into Stephen Kings The Stand. I love creepy kids books and this one was an enjoyable ride!

When I tell you I gasped, I gasped! The end of this book was fitting to such a brilliant fast paced horror read about a family troubled with demonic possession. Honestly this was SO good!

Meh.

In the end, I both expected more and less at the same time. Was a fun read, though. I don’t normally go for the paranormal/demon vibe.

3.75/5✨

i👏🏽 love👏🏽possession👏🏽stories👏🏽 something about a demonic entity possessing an innocent child that just scares the crap out of me but at the same time scratches that itch. this definitely did not disappoint.

i was hooked from the very beginning. the build up to discovering the truth of Jacks past & how everything happening connects added a level of suspense that really took it to the next level & kept me glued to the pages. it was creepy & unsettling...the ending?!?! i did not see coming, my jaw dropped.

this would have been a four star if it wasn't for Nubs. RIP🪦
