Ending was unsatisfying. Loved the overall atmosphere of the story. My hackles were raised quite a bit. There’s nothing scarier than children mixed in with the supernatural. HATED the characters but I needed to see where the story was headed.
For all he knew, wickedness was strong enough to exist in a world without good.
I haven't read much horror, and the horror i'm usually interested in is a bit more. unconventional. This is very traditional horror in my eyes, but it was enjoyable.
A tale of a man's haunting as a kid, coming back to disturb the somewhat-peace he had established in his adult life and to now stick to his youngest daughter. Horror stories revolving around children always impress, and the characterization of this little girl and the evil that is taking over her and how it's ripping this family's life apart was quite really well done. Also, i appreciated that this evil was written to be so everlasting, so impossible to get rid of.
I also just need to point out... whatever this line was. For documentation purposes: threatening to release its grip and toss that metal sheet intot he windshield like a drunk girl flashing her tits at Mardi Gras.

Seed is an atmospheric gothic horror that kept me turning pages. I loved the eerie vibes and slow-building tension. It’s short but impactful, with haunting imagery and a satisfying sense of dread. A great quick read that I definitely recommend.

I've only watched In The Tall Grass by Stephen King but that's what came into my mind when I finished reading this. It's not bad, but I would have loved to know the history behind everything.
