Every single one of these stories was a hit.
Most of them have an eerie and dreamy quality to them. I often did not understand what was happening exactly but the vibes were so strong it doesn't really matter.
I think it could be a very interesting book club pick because I'm sure you can find different meanings and imagerie from most of the stories.
I just loved it so much and cannot wait to reread it.

I really enjoyed this collection, it was very fun and weird and it had quite a few standouts for me. Such a pretty face was my favourite out of all them. I love how all the stories deal with identity and loss of identity, misogyny, homophobia, love and sex and many other things. The writing and prose was pretty good in most of the stories and they were curated pretty well in my opinion. I enjoyed the most that it dealt with those themes in weird, horror based stories, it made it more enjoyable to read and pick apart those themes in a thought provoking way. Overall I’d recommend if you want a good short story collection that tackles those themes and queer identity.
A lovely but uneven collection--some stories are 5 stars, some are more like 3. I really liked "Such a Pretty Face" and "Rath," and at first I thought I'd hate "The Summoning" but I ended up loving the change in voice.
