The book cover does a really apt job of showing the strange poetic nature of the stories. I like the author's prose a lot, there were a lot of unique ideas here, but the stories are - though most anthologies tend to be this way - constant hits and misses. What maybe makes this book different from other anthologies is that each story is incredibly dense, and honestly stretches itself way longer than it has to be to get to the point.

A fantastic short story collection. Would especially recommend for people who are interested in reading stories on the sapphic experience set before a dystopian background but discussing everyday people's experience in a way.
I didn't understand everything but I honestly don't mind because I feel like this is one I'll go back to and actually read parts of again.
