This book was awesome! I didn't expect a devotion to the Bronx's history and culture but I was here for it.
I loved the concept of the game, and I think the story was really unique and wonderful.
3.5 just because I was hoping some things would hit harder, but I might have just not been in the right headspace at the time of reading it. I also felt like the ending was really rushed and there wasn't a resolution with the "big bad"

very different to what I've grown to expect from sourcebooks fire, but I really enjoyed this one! leans into the horror, while also being very fast paced and thriller-esque. Really loved how this was a love letter to the Bronx and the legacy of it as a place. Can't wait to read more by this author as they continue to write!

this is such an interesting concept! the pacing was a little weird and the characters felt underdeveloped to me, which was a shame because i really enjoyed the overall plot.
