The best way that I can describe this book is that there were so many things in it and yet it felt hollow. It felt like the author tried to do too much and didn’t add as much detail as possible into a couple of key concepts. I was disappointed too because the idea for this book was so cool and especially the history behind the book. I was disappointed that we never learned more about the Bronx burning. I found this story to be like when a little kid tells a story with and then and then and then.

I cannot say enough good things about this book. Sapphic horror/thriller might be my new favorite genre, and Vincent Tirado did an incredible job.
