I really enjoyed how candid the book's description of autism and living as autistic was, and how Laura James was able to talk about her life and experiences as an autistic and physically disabled woman in a way that felt really relatable but still very true to what her (very different from my own) life is like. I finished this about 2 years ago but never wrote a true response or report or review, so I'm just recollecting how I felt about it. It was an enjoyable read, especially in the car when I had motion sickness and needed something quiet and simple to focus on that was still interesting to me.
