I didn’t feel I had anything in common with the author. She led a simple life with almost zero obstacles and came across as a petulant whining child.
The stream of consciousness style of writing got old real quick, especially when she was writing from the perspective of her childhood self. It was an incoherent mish mash of thoughts from childhood with the occasional explanation for said thoughts that could only have come from adulthood.
It didn’t seem authentic or even slightly introspective, and I learned nothing of use at all.

The non-linear narrative of this memoir was at times distracting and hard to follow, but I enjoyed hearing about the early signs of autism she displayed and their manifestation in her adulthood.

Very interesting story of one woman's diagnosis and the time that followed.

This book has changed my life. It’s the first book I’ve ever read that I want to read it again immediately. I’m not good with words or reading but somehow she has the words from inside my brain.
