I didn’t know I liked books set in the Victorian era until reading this , it has opened my eyes to a whole other genre. It was so beautifully written , down to every last adjective. Simply devoured this book and would do it again. Let’s go Victorian lesbians! So beautifully chaotic , living for the Victorian drama.

That was NOT what I was expecting. Wow. Shout out to my girl Nan King, you would have loved "Good Luck Babe" by Chappell Roan. Also shout out to Nan again because she is truly the Queens strongest woman who dresses like a soldier for everything she went through.

Absolutely Dickensian in the way that you think Nan has reached rock bottom and she just keeps DIGGING!

A fun and engaging read.

I enjoyed the characters. I feel like I would have liked this a lot more in high school, though.

The smut scenes in this book…. wow…
but love the lesbian to socialist pipeline in action
